The National Center for Student Success® | An educational research and STEM impact institute • Est. 2010 Headquartered in Harvard Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts

IMPACT. NOT IMPRESS.

We do not believe that the success of our students can wait. As we provide empathy-based advocacy, training to educators, and student-centered academic and leadership support in the form of transformational tutoring, mindful mentoring and collaborative STEM-empowered coursework, we take a holistic approach - with a sense of urgency.

Nestled amidst top universities including Harvard and MIT, The National Center for Student Success® is home to a national network of university students, educators, community leaders and assiduous Agents of Change who are working together with students to better understand and support their academic transformations, one student at a time.

Believe with us. | Give to transform a life today and generations to come.

TOGETHER WE FERVENTLY BELIEVE:

We are an empathic educational research and impact organization that collaborates with students and Agents of Change to demonstrate that learning can be empowering and fun. We understand and believe that student feelings are valid. We work closely with schools, parents and students toward mutual understanding and goals.

We believe that all students can redefine their future with sustainable financial support, the committed support of loved ones, and our comprehensive art-infused support system.

We believe that all students can achieve academic success by discovering and growing in unconditional self-love, by better understanding the system of higher education and with adequate holistic support in navigating to and through college.

We find simple yet innovative ways to unite a community to inspire students to become leaders, overcome adversity and achieve academic success.

TOGETHER WE CAN BE THE DIFFERENCE MAKERS.

How we are different/Our program benefits to students:

"BRILLIANT THINGS HAPPEN IN CALM MINDS. BE CALM. YOU'RE BRILLIANT." - Headspace

Inspired by the work of Carol S. Dweck, Stanford professor, on the power of a growth mindset .

Through creative vision, we utilize some of the best global education reform research to create local impact in the lives of our student community. We take a holistic approach in working for our students.

We do not believe that we should leave impacting for tomorrow. We always have a sense of urgency within our organization because we do not believe that our present and future student cohorts can wait.

A FEW OF OUR STUDENT TESTIMONIALS:

"As a 13-year-old  this Summer, I learned about the dropout crisis in my community, where 22% of students drop out of school and do not go to college. So to my fellow classmates, this school year, believe that you can succeed at school and follow through by getting your work done."

- Matthew S.

"I'm so full of confidence and courage to start my new school term. Thank you so much for all of the inspiring words and instruction. I'll always remember this impasse in my life." - Yuzhu T.

"I guess I can say I'm blessed. I try to stay humble and cultivate my talents. And with you and others teaching me and encouraging me to be the best that I can be, I will attempt to be just that if not better." - Widner F.

"After the entrepreneurship courses, my mind became more clear. I know what problem I want to solve and how I can solve it. [My Agent of Change] helped me to know myself and my ideas too! Thank you so much!" - Xiaohan D.

"NOTHING CAN DIM THE LIGHT WHICH SHINES FROM WITHIN." - Maya Angelou

The National Center for Student Success® has partnered with several public school educators to provide art-centered after school programs to school districts serving marginalized student populations. Our programs match high-need students with transformational tutors and mindful mentors from Ivy League and top-tier universities.

You can make success possible by supporting on-the-ground outreach, research, capacity building and curriculum design to turn around low-performing public schools. By gifting education and fostering creative voices, you are assisting our partner public school educators and for-purpose after school programs to fight budget cuts and continue to provide impactful STEM and art-centered learning experiences, resources and after school academic support to students in need.

Your generous giving will help us to continue to stimulate creativity, build academic confidence and encourage nonlinear thinking in students who struggle academically and with self-love.

Thank you in advance for making students' college dreams and life goals a reality. | I am willing and able to help.

Together, let's spring into daily action seeking to find the root causes of disengagement in the classroom, poor grades and the dropout epidemic; and to impact change, one student at a time.

For our remote Agents of Change and Student Leaders,  we'd love to meet you in person at 1100 Massachusetts Avenue or at the Harvard Innovation Lab (125 Western Avenue, Allston) and give you a tour of campus. Let us know if you are in town. - The Student Success Team
